Screen Shot 2015-03-17 at 10.42.23 PMThe Kettle Black is one of those places that you remember for not only the food but the architecture and design.

Situated on Albert Rd in South Melbourne, a stone’s throw away Domain Interchange tram stop, Kettle Black is an uber cool cafe servicing the corporates of St Kilda Rd as well as lovers of coffee and brunch like myself.

On this occasion my friend Anne and I ventured to Kettle Black after attending the Bondi Sands event in St Kilda for some lunch.

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetI ordered the house made coconut yoghurt with gluten-free gains, seed and nuts, rhubarb, citrus powders, fruits and flowers. Anne ordered the coconut-set chia seeds, fresh Queensland mango, Red Hill strawberries, blueberries, coconut, maple, macadamia and local rose petals. We both ordered the special filtered iced coffee which came partially frozen and to our delight, melted as we sipped.

The Top Paddock crew have once again created an inviting space to enjoy food, coffee and friends.
