L’espresso in Ballarat has fast become a popular haunt of mine mainly due to their delicious coffee.
I’ve visited L’espresso many times during my first year as a local (it’s been one year exactly since we moved to Ballarat) and it’s my go-to cafe when showing friends and family around.
“See, you can get Melbourne quality coffee in regional Victoria!” I would boast to friends.
While I usually order a latte, on this occasion I ordered a mocha as it was 3.30pm and I’m ‘one of those people’ who can’t drink coffee after 3pm or I’ll be up until midnight. I’ve also tried their iced mocha which is equally delicious.
L’espresso also serve up hearty breakfasts and lunches. On a sunny day, it’s best to get there early and grab a table or milk crate outside, order a coffee, read The Courier and watch the world go by.
