For the past two months, I’ve been visiting the popular Creswick Market and have found some great local businesses making wonderful things such as Bisk-Art, Blackbird Lane Designs and High Voltage Lamps to name a few.
One of my favourite finds is Daylesford business, Woodduck Press.
Woodduck Press is a boutique letterpress design and print studio using natural paper stocks, distinctive coloured envelopes and wraps combined with the age old craft of letterpress printing. Their stationery range includes greeting cards, note cards, gift tags, pocket note pads, wraps, limited edition poster prints and more.
Last Saturday at the Creswick Market I again came across the Woodduck Press stall and as I was in the mood for some Christmas shopping (I picked up some Xmas gifts for my mother-in-law and niece from other stalls), I decided to purchase some of their wrapping paper and paper twine. I only wish I also bought some of their gift tags.
Lucky for me, Woodduck and many other stalls will be involved in Ballarat’s Pop-up Collective on the last two weekends of November. I definitely plan to pop in and buy some more paper twine, wrapping paper and gift tags.
