It’s my favourite day of the week!
Today’s throwback is from November 2012 at the Kalgoorlie Superpit in Western Australia. My partner worked at the Kalgoorlie Miner newspaper for a year and this was my third visit to the WA town.
The Superpit was home to the largest gold mine in the southern hemisphere and it is such a fantastic sight to see, watching these tiny trucks make their way up the ‘road’ and slowly the trucks become bigger and bigger – they’re huge! Not a tiny truck. This place is enourmous and a must see if you’re ever road tripping around WA.
