Cafe of the week: Millstone Patisserie

Upon arriving at the cafe, we were greeted with sunny yellow tones from the sails outside and inside, there was some delightful artwork on the wall which I would love in my own kitchen one day. Millstone serves wonderful seasonal breakfasts and lunches as well as indulgent french inspired treats such as petit gateau and pastries.

My dad and I ordered coffees, my usual latte and Fred his cappucino (I never know what coffee my dad will order but he seems to be sticking with cappucino lately), and I couldn’t resist trying a pain au chocolat. Although the pastry was small and pricey ($5), it was simply delicious.
